Oregon Training and Consultation (OTAC), originally incorporated in 1984 as Oregon Technical Assistance Corporation, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Salem, Oregon.  OTAC’s internationally recognized training and technical assistance programs promote full participation in community life for people with disabilities, seniors, and their families.

An ordinary life - that’s what OTAC is all about.  We help people gain the skills and supports they need to live an ordinary life.  That includes meaningful work, a home of their choosing, friends, joy, belonging, choices, hobbies and other common, everyday experiences available to most people.

We use person-centered strategies that emphasize opportunity, self-determination and inclusion.  We work with entire systems as well as professionals, individuals and their families, always maintaining a commitment to the whole person.

OTAC has a long, rich history of being on the front lines of creating positive change. Through our work with numerous agencies, organizations, professionals, families, and individuals, we strive to build a better future for all Oregonians who experience disabilities.
