Supporting Persons Who Are Aging and have Disabilities

Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is used to assist an individual who is aging and/or has a disability to maintain and attain a maximal level of emotional and social functioning.  PBS develops supportive behavior plans that attend to the environment and interactions with caregivers to address a) challenging behaviors b) cognitive processing c) communication skills d) self help activities e) impulse control or f) adaptive skills.

Our specialists provide a training program to develop behavior consultants within the existing workforce of Seniors and People with Disabilities (SPD).
